I came to the Woodlands dive center to get my basic open water diver certification. They are very helpful, polite, and are flexible with your schedule. I highly recommend you ask for Beatriz Conner. She is very knowledgeable, her technique is excellent, and her personality is warm and sociable. I could not of had a better instructor!

The Woodlands Dive Center held their trip to Roatan on April 4th through April 11th, 2026. There were 45 people signed up to take the trip to Turquoise Bay. At first, I was very skeptical of how this would turn out knowing the logistics in arranging such an adventure with such a large group. I, for one, was impressed and pleasantly surprised. The trip was awesome and was handled fantastically well by Gary and Allison. We had some great dives; met some new friends; enjoyed my old friends; and I look forward to making more trips with this outstanding company. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

This family-owned business treats customers like family too! When I want specific gear, they are quick to order it for me. We’ve had excellent experiences on all of our trips with them and are so well taken care of! Their instructors are thorough and well trained. I highly recommend them for all things scuba!

Exceptional dive shop, friendly, authentic and helpful. They are A+ with their trips, just returned from a flawless trip to Roatán. They managed a large group of people with varying degrees of skill and offered courses on the trip. Well staffed, wonderful experience. ❤️❤️

My husband and I signed up together in September and we have not slowed down since. We thought we would do our open water certification, get some of the basics and just learn something new. This experience has been so much more. I can only say if you are interested in scuba diving this is the place to go. Rental gear is included there is no sales pressure, just great personnel who all share a passion and help you decide what level you are looking to achieve. After doing the online study materials we went for our first class and we were hooked. The prices are regulated so you don't need to look online for gear bc the cost is the same. Our instructor and the master divers who help were amazing. We now are specialty advanced open water certified with 25 dives and plans for future dives and new a whole new world of experiences and good people to share these with. There is nothing like it, and having such professional people who want your success and see you enjoy yourself is priceless. 2 years later, we are finishing up our Dive Master and have been to several countries and continents to scuba dive. This has been the best thing we have done for ourselves!!! Thank you all at The Wood
